Major MAJOR kudos to Meegs for once again proving that even though we're half a country away from each other, she still has the uncanny ability to pick out the absolute PERFECT gift ever!!! As I sit here listening to my jazz playlist and sipping my very first cup of tea brewed from loose tea (which I never thought I'd have the patience to deal with) and re-reading the Tea book (yes, I actually put down the Xbox 360 controller and read the entire thing already) I think I've found a new obsession. You're the best, as always!!!

OFF the deep end

My house flooded...again...not as bad as last time but still bad...

This I find AFTER coming home after working another 12 hour day to find someone else in my PARKING SPOT! So now, after spending the last hour and a half mopping up water from the kitchen and rightfully claiming my parking space once again, I go to go get dinner at McD's.

And to just top off a perfect day, I get home from McD's (which anyone who knows where I live knows that a ROUND TRIP to McD's is less than 10 minutes) to find...

Mystery SOLVED!

So on Friday, I solved a multi-million dollar mystery at work that had been unsolved for weeks, which I apparently solved in the space of 30 minutes. Yes, it was quite a feeling of euphoria as I left for the weekend, but now that I'm getting ready to go back tomorrow, I don't want to get my hopes up. I don't know that I really believe it, out of a company of tens of thousands, I was the only person who saw it? Even though according to my boss it's true; I have his email to prove it. I can't help but feel it's one of those 'too good to be true' things; they're just messing with my mind. Oh wait, that's me messing with my mind by taking myself off medication. HA! Is it a good thing? A bad thing? I can't decide...
