SOOOOOOOOO ANGRY!!!!!

I have never seen such unprofessional, pissy, petty emails flying around since I left HDE. And all my managers are either out-of-town or at an all-day meeting so I'm fending for myself. I know I shouldn't let it get to me, it's just a friggin' job for cryin' out loud, but still - just can't believe people apparently have nothing better to do than spend all day trying to point their finger at anyone but themselves.

I need a drink - is it 5 o'clock yet? It must be 5 o'clock somewhere...HA - according to my world clock, it's 5 in Athens, Greece. In honor of the peeps that run The Amphora, then.

Yes, today is the wonderful commissions close day. I've been here since 7:20am and probably won't be able to leave until 8pm.

Home Again

Yeah, a little late for that post title, I know.

After the day from hell at the airport on Sunday, we made it home around midnight, and I even managed to get my ass to work on Monday morning - on time.

Unfortunately, it's been the work week from hell as well, which is why I am so incredibly overjoyed that it is Friday. 8 short hours, and I will be free for a couple of days. My intentions are to get all my pictures uploaded this weekend from the trip - all 300ish of them. We'll see if I'm successful.

Quick Update

Well, the island hopping is officially over and we are now cruising our way back to sunny Florida.

The highlights from the last two days:

• A continuing stream of incredibly good food accompanied by the most amazing wait staff EVER; I don't know if I will be able to go back to eating regular stuff and not being served by the best waiter Sandu.
• I was in Blackbeard's castle overlooking an incredible skyline of St. Thomas
• The tour guide for the Blackbeard castle tour, Francisco - oh, yeah (we even got his cell phone number and email address...)
• Rum punch
• A rainbow starting off our day today as we pulled into Philpsburg, St. Maarten.
• I got to hold a butterfly in my hand!
• Incredibly bad sunburn - okay, that's not necessarily a highlight, but I thought if I threw that in that maybe y'all wouldn't be so jealous...

Okay, we're off to dinner now - be home in a few days!

Cruise - Day something

Holy crap - amazingly drunk shouldn't be blogging right now, but what are you gonna do?

The update:

- I started smoking again.
- I just left Maggie alone with a guy who looks vaguely like Kiefer Sutherland
- Tonight was our first formal night and we both look really hot
- I just emailed my Colorado hotty - not a good idea when you're drunk
- AA lost Maggie's luggage in Raleigh -DRAMA - but it turned up when we got on the ship
- Kavon thinks I'm one of the funniest people in the world
- Tomorrow we're docking in San Juan - lots of shopping to be had followed by a visit to Senor Frog's
- Our balcony stateroom is effing AWESOME
- Matt, I'm sorry I didn't call you on your birthday - with Maggie's luggage drama I completely forgot - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

Okay - that's enough for now - the pizza in the Promenade Cafe is really really really good...but I must go pee and then pass out. I'm soooooo going to regret writing this blog post....
