The Termite

Nemo had his first major procedure done since I adopted him - the vet said he had to have his teeth cleaned. With his heart condition making it more risky to put him under anesthesia, I of course practically gave myself an ulcer worrying the whole time about him. But needlessly, as he came through beautifully. The vet tech said he was a "complete gentleman" and behaved extraordinarily good for them. Don't tell him I said this, but since they had to shave both of his forepaws for the IVs, he now sort of resembles a poodle when he sits - you know how they shave their legs and leave the little puff ball at their feet?

Work has been equally maddening - with the announcement of a 25% cut across our department, everyone is fearing for their employment. Then last week my Director announced he is leaving. Him being one of my staunchest supporters and favorite people at work, I am devestated and feel like my time with Sprint could be coming to an end.

One thing is for sure, I'm soooooo ready for Spring - this ice and snow crap is driving me crazy.
